Burma Briefs

The lies are so bizarre that you KNOW this guy was here CIA CASE MANAGER.

The fact that the MSM is so vague and omitting confirms it for me.

"Verdict for Burma’s Suu Kyi looms" by Associated Press | July 29, 2009

RANGOON, Burma - The defense team for Burma’s democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi delivered its final arguments yesterday, closing the case days ahead of a verdict the Nobel laureate softly said will be “painfully obvious.’’

The trial that began in May has drawn global condemnation from rights activists, world leaders, and celebrities who have called for her immediate release. But neither outside pressure nor the possibility of closer ties with the West have deterred the ruling junta, who appeared determined to find her guilty and keep her behind bars through elections planned for next year....

The U.S. holds people in black site torture chambers so they have no standing to criticize.

Of course, they are all goosed up about their own asset there. She's just a tool. You would think she would know that they don't give a wit about her. They probably prefer her in jail so they can use it as a club against a non-compliant Burmese government allied with China.

The quick verdict surprised Suu Kyi’s lawyers because a ruling wasn’t expected until next month. Details were not immediately available. The detained 64-year-old Nobel Peace laureate faces a possible five years in prison on charges that she violated the terms of her house arrest by harboring an uninvited American man - John William Yettaw - who swam to her lakeside home and stayed for two days.

Yeah, ISN'T THAT STRANGE!!?

When she was SO CLOSE to being RELEASED!

Her lawyers have argued the law used by authorities against Suu Kyi is invalid because it applies to a constitution abolished two decades ago.

Why is she giving aid and comfort to a nutcase?

NEW YORK - .... The case involves a bizarre incident in which an American intruder swam across a lake and spent two nights in her villa on a mission, as he told the court, to save her from assassins.

(Blog author is shaking his head speechless; the bigger the lie....)

Also yesterday, Burmese exile sources said the authorities had detained as many as 30 prodemocracy advocates and members of the National League for Democracy, the country’s main opposition group. But they said it appeared that an unknown number of them had been held briefly and released.

?? What about THAT NUT-BALL, MSM? Why not FIND OUT MORE about HIM?

I mean, EVERY GUN NUTTY here gets a FULL BIO for cripes sake!!!!!!

Analysts say they believe that the case is aimed at keeping Suu Kyi in detention through an election that is planned for early next year. Her latest six-year term of house arrest expired in mid-May....

As if BURMA set this up?

Some AMERICAN who had DONE the SAME THING LAST YEAR?

--more--"

Yeah, I'm smelling CIA contact, folks.
