Back to Work

Did you have a good lunch?

"Retail sales rebound in Oct., beating forecast" by Shobhana Chandra, Bloomberg News | November 17, 2009

WASHINGTON - Retail sales rebounded more than forecast as demand for automobiles climbed, and a regional gauge of manufacturing showed expansion for a fourth month, easing concern the recovery will cool after government incentives end.

Purchases increased 1.4 percent in October after a 2.3 percent drop in September that was larger than the previously estimated, according to Commerce Department figures released yesterday....

I say it ALL THE TIME! Yeah, I'll WAIT for my REVISIONS!!

Yup, GOVERNMENT LIES ALL the TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stocks added to a global rally after the reports signaled a better holiday shopping season....

I've had it. I've HAD IT WITH the MSM PIMPING for CORPORATE PROFITS with BULLS*** LIES!!!!!!!!!

Michael Feroli, an economist at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York:

Consumers are looking relatively resilient. They are spending a little more freely, which bodes well for the holiday season. Given the backdrop of the labor market, this is actually as good as one can hope for.’’

Yeah, the RICH DOING WELL is the BEST YOU CAN HOPE FOR, s***-chewing, Amurka!!

"Economic expectations not as grim in Bay State" by Robert Gavin, Globe Staff | November 18, 2009

Boston Globe Business Pages Are Nothing But Bulls***!

Yup, same bull-s***ter!!!

Boston-area residents are more optimistic about the economy and their own financial prospects than the nation as a whole, but they continue to cut spending as many struggle to make ends meet, according to a survey released yesterday by the banking giant Citigroup....

Oh, ACCORDING to CITIGROUP, huh?

PFFFFFFT!

Hear that FLUSH, readers?

The survey of 500 residents, conducted in September, is consistent with other recent polls, which have found hints of optimism in Massachusetts overshadowed by economic anxiety. This anxiety, much of it related to weak labor markets, has consumers keeping a tight rein on spending, and economists forecasting a long, difficult recovery.

Last month, a Suffolk University/Boston Globe poll found that 2 of 3 Massachusetts residents who were surveyed believed an economic recovery was underway, but nearly half were worried about losing their jobs. The October consumer confidence survey by the Boston consulting firm Mass Insight Corp. also found that Massachusetts residents were more optimistic than consumers nationally, but still insecure.

Yeah, because it is going to be a JOBLESS RECOVERY, we are told!

Which means NO RECOVERY AT ALL!!

Nearly 60 percent of those polled said jobs were hard to get, and 64 percent expected no job growth over the next six months. “There are these small surges of optimism that get squashed by negative news,’’ said Mass Insight president William H. Guenther. “And the thing that people are feeling the most is the job market.’’

Yeah, and they are saying it will not be until 2013 or beyond that we get jobs back!

In the Citi survey, 4 of 10 Boston respondents said they had dipped into savings or investments to pay bills.

Yup, the SHITTY SURVEY, as Bill Mahre would say!

Yup, YOU GOT ME, Globe!

One in 3 said they were working longer hours to make ends meet. The greatest concern for the household budget: the rising cost of health care.

Yeah, we want single-payer, no insurance companies.

Still....

Do you know HOW TIRED I AM of seeing STILL, BUT, IF, COULD BE, MAY BE, DESPITE, HOWEVER, and ALL THE OTHER WORDS my COLLEGE WRITING INSTRUCTOR said were BAD for a "report!"

It is NOT a NEWSPAPER anymore; it is an AGENDA-PUSHING S*** SHEET full of LIES and DISTORTIONS!

Update: Mass. unemployment rate falls to 8.9 percent

Here is why they can claim that:

"job losses over the summer were worse than first reported.... employment data reported over the summer may have underestimated the weakness of the labor market.... Monthly state employment figures are estimates...."

Yup, they are LYING TO YOU AGAIN!!!!

WASHINGTON - The budding economic recovery is not getting much help from the home-building industry, which typically creates jobs and drives growth when a recession ends.... a sign of how much the fledgling recovery depends on government support.

Sigh. I'm sick of it.

Yeah, the wasted stimulus was responsible for the growth and now the homes are down when I've been told for months they are improving and coming back.

I'm SICK of the SHIT YO-YO of the LYING BUSINESS PAGES of the BG, readers!!!!!!!!! WHO LIKES BEING LIED TO in this way!!!!!!!?

They WONDER why I am FURIOUS!!!!!!???????

Home building unexpectedly plunged to its lowest point since April, the Commerce Department said yesterday.... even with government aid, the weakness of the housing sector is dragging on the economy....

Which means IT WAS WAY WORSE!!!!

And wait until you see this beaut!

The tepid recovery is holding down inflation, though. While consumer prices edged up faster than expected in October, they remain lower than they were a year ago.

Yup, INFLATION is being HELD DOWN even though PRICES ROSE MORE than EXPECTED!!!

But they are LOWER than a YEAR AGO, so WHAT ARE YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT, America?!

You GOT IT GOOOOOOD!!!!

And inflation is expected to stay subdued.

Yeah, but the DOLLAR is CRASHING! That is why PRICES KEEP RISING, America!!!

And this is the SAME EXPERTS who KEEP GETTING SURPRISED, huh?!!!!!!!!!!

The Labor Department said....

Then I KNOW it is a DAMNABLE GOVERNMENT LIE, sorry!!!!

On Wall Street, stocks edged down after the unexpected drop in home construction and disappointing forecasts from technology companies. The modest drop came a day after major stock indicators closed at 13-month highs....

Oh, here is where there is work, America:

"Guantanamo transfers would bring hope, jobs to Ill. prison town; One of several sites on US list" by Deanna Bellandi, Associated Press | November 17, 2009

THOMSON, Ill. - News that the federal government may buy the nearly empty Thomson Correctional Center and use the maximum-security state prison to house Guantanamo Bay detainees has given people in Thomson hope....

You are PATHETIC AmeriKa!!!!

Sig Heil, and F*** YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

The prison was built in 2001 with the promise of thousands of jobs. But because of state budget problems, it has been largely vacant since its completion.

Yup, it is ALWAYS the SAME THING: PROMISES, PROMISES, PROMISES!!!!

It has 1,600 cells but only about 200 minimum-security inmates are held there....

The administration has also considered sending Guantanamo detainees to other locations in the country, including the maximum-security prison in Standish, Mich., where many residents also have welcomed the idea in the hope that it would spur jobs....

AmeriKa, TYRANNY based on LIES is NOT GOING TO HELP YOU!!!

Harley Lappin, director of the federal Bureau of Prisons, said yesterday that the federal agency would hire 800 to 900 people if Thomson is chosen, including about 250 to 300 people from other facilities to get the system up and running quickly. Illinois Governor Pat Quinn and others estimate a federal takeover would create as many as 3,000 jobs in all, counting the new businesses created.

And WHY SHOULD WE BELIEVE S***-HOLE POLITICIANS and SELF-SERVING FASCISTAS anymore, huh? I DON'T!!!!
