CAMBRIDGE - Cambridge police gave state Senator Anthony Galluccio a ride home early on the morning of Oct. 4 when a gas station attendant called 911 and said he feared the lawmaker was “too intoxicated to drive,’’ according to a police report made public yesterday.
Thirteen hours later, Galluccio, 42, was behind the wheel and fleeing the scene after rear-ending a minivan and hurting a 13-year-old boy, a crash that has led to criminal charges against the Cambridge Democrat....
Oh, the most hypocritical of all liberals.
The senator left his car parked near the Basha Café, a nightclub on New Street, according to the report and the nightspot’s website. Galluccio was in the cafe, which is located on New Street around the corner from the gas station, at some point during the evening of Friday, Oct. 3....
At 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 4, on Garden Street in Cambridge, Galluccio hit the rear of the minivan with a family of four inside. The minivan was struck with enough force that Galluccio’s license plate left an imprint. That led police to cite him with leaving the scene of an accident.
So this guy was BROUGHT HOME and the NEXT AFTERNOON he was BOMBED AGAIN!
Yup, when he WOKE UP later the next day -- a Saturday -- he DRANK HIS BREAKFAST, folks!
Oh, have compassion and patience, he has a problem! Well, FUCK THAT!!!!

“It was very poor judgment, and I have to accept responsibility for it,’’ Galluccio, a former Cambridge mayor and city councilor, said in a nine-minute interview at his State House office last month after the crash. Galluccio declined to answer questions during that interview. He has pleaded not guilty to leaving the scene after causing personal injury and causing property damage.
Yup, he has to "ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY!"

A status hearing on Galluccio’s case will be held Friday in District Court in Medford. The senator has had repeated driving problems, including at least two previous accidents involving alcohol.
Then HIS LICENSE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY for 10 YEARS!!!

“I think that it’s an example of what’s wrong on Beacon Hill right now. I think that the people of Massachusetts and the people of our district are growing weary of this politicians-behaving-badly routine that’s unfortunately been a problem over the last couple of years.’’
