Yup, CIA ABANDONED its ASSETS AGAIN!
"Discontent flares on Iranian campuses" by Borzou Daragahi, Los Angeles Times | November 3, 2009
BEIRUT - An impromptu protest in a campus auditorium....
Largely absent from international media reports....
Quite a far cry from last summer, huh?
Translation: the COUP ATTEMPT FAILED!

Amazing how quickly that is forgotten, 'eh?
Tomorrow, defying warnings by security officials, protesters plan to stage their first large public gatherings in six weeks. This time they plan to turn an annual nationwide march commemorating the 1979 takeover of the US Embassy, held on the 13th day of the Persian calendar month of Aban, into an antigovernment rally....
In the West, some analysts have begun to discount the opposition movement’s ability to affect Tehran’s decision-making calculus. Some say months of repression have gutted the protest movement of its organizational capacity and leadership.
“Our view is that the regime has largely neutralized the opposition,’’ said Mark Fowler, a former CIA analyst who now heads Persia House, a service run by the Booz Allen Hamilton consulting company in Washington.
You know, the GUYS PAID to P.R. and LOBBY FOR WARS!!!!!
“It seems to us that they have pretty much decapitated the opposition in terms of leadership. I don’t think the government is particularly worried about it.’’

Neither is the MSM because WHERE are the PROTESTS?
TEHRAN - On Monday, Iran said it wanted further negotiations and more guarantees that its low-enriched uranium would be returned....
USrael going to use that as an excuse to attack like they did Iraq!??
Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said in a speech yesterday:
“The new US president has said nice things. He has given us many spoken and written messages and said, ‘Let’s turn the page and create a new situation. Let’s cooperate with each other in resolving world problems.’ What we have witnessed is completely the opposite of what they have been saying and claiming. On the face of things they say: ‘Let’s negotiate.’ But alongside this they threaten us and say that if these negotiations do not reach a desirable result, they will do this and that.’’
You can fool the American people most of the time, but you CAN NOT FOOL an IRANIAN!!!!
Khamenei made the remarks to an audience during a commemoration of the Nov. 4, 1979, takeover of the US Embassy in Tehran, which will be celebrated widely in Iran today....
Nothing about the protests today, 'eh?
Khamenei urged Iranian representatives to be extremely careful when dealing with the United States....
Yeah, you might find a knife in your back!
In his harshest comments against the Obama administration to date, Khamenei said yesterday that the United States has ill intentions toward Iran and is not to be trusted.
When you read his comments, readers, did they SOUND HARSH?
Did he threaten military action like Usrael?
The remarks came amid wrangling between Iranian officials and representatives of the United States, Russia, and France over a United Nations-backed proposal aimed at resolving a protracted dispute over Iran’s nuclear program....
Khamenei, spurning what he described as several personal overtures from President Obama, warned yesterday that negotiating with United States was “naive and perverted’’ and said Iranian politicians should not be “deceived’’ into starting such talks.
Well, the TRUTH IS HARSH, isn't it?
Khamenei said Obama has approached him several times through oral and written messages. It was the second time that Khamenei, 70, who wields ultimate political and religious authority in Iran, has referred to Obama’s outreach, in which the US president reportedly has requested talks between the two estranged nations....
Just so he can say he tried and failed and that is why he needed to bomb them.
