"Military supplier charged with fraud" by Associated Press | November 17, 2009

ATLANTA - A company that was paid billions to supply food for the US military in Kuwait and Iraq inflated prices and defrauded the US government for contracts to feed American troops, federal prosecutors said yesterday.

Which -- in this case -- is YOU, American taxpayers!!! As this BUDGET HEMORRHAGES RED INK the WAR LOOTERS GOUGE YOU! Happens in EVERY WAR!

Kuwaiti logistics firm Public Warehousing Co., which says it has been the military’s chief food supplier in Kuwait and Iraq since 2003, has been charged with making false statements, submitting false claims, and committing wire fraud, said Acting US Attorney Gentry Shelnutt.

The company, also known as Agility, has received more than $8.5 billion in food supply contracts. Federal prosecutors say its contract with the government is still in effect and scheduled to expire in December 2010....

They sure are agile when it comes to stealing taxpayer loot -- although not as agile as AmeriKan war looters that are never charged (or even asked to pay back the money).

Supply records show Agility was more successful in delivering food to the military in a war zone than some contractors in the United States.

Which means YOU have been FLEECED for MORE BILLIONS than you can POSSIBLY IMAGINE, America!

Good thing YOU did not NEED that money for ANYTHING!!!

In the six-count indictment, prosecutors claimed the company manipulated a complex funding formula to defraud the US government of at least $68 million while supplying troops in Kuwait, Iraq, and Jordan, said Assistant US Attorney Barbara Nelan. But she said it is too soon in the investigation to peg a total dollar amount on the scheme.

WTF? It has been SIX YEARS!!!!

The indictment said the company provided false invoices and statements to a logistics center, knowingly inflated prices, manipulated packaging to enable double-billing, and received rebates and discounts from vendors that it did not pass to the government as required by the contract.

Just pay the man!
