India Infecting Japanese With Superbug

Then don't go there.

"Japan confirms first case of superbug gene; Found in man who had medical treatment in India" by Shino Yuasa, Associated Press | September 8, 2010

TOKYO — Japan has confirmed the nation’s first case of a new gene in bacteria that allows the microorganisms to become drug-resistant superbugs, detected in a man who had medical treatment in India, a Health Ministry official said yesterday....

So which mad scientist has been fooling around with them?

Researchers say the gene — which appears to be circulating widely in India — alters bacteria, making them resistant to nearly all known antibiotics.

Drug-resistant bacteria are not new. Many bacteria are resistant to the world’s first antibiotic, penicillin, as well as successive generations of drugs. Excessive use and improper use of antibiotics have exacerbated the problem and led to the emergence of superbugs.

“The potential of NDM-1 to be a worldwide public health problem is great, and coordinated international surveillance is needed,’’ according to a widely publicized report in the British medical journal Lancet in August....

Here we go again.

And ever notice the Lancet is a respectable publication until it claims a million Iraqis are dead because of the U.S. invasion? Then they are hammered on credibility.

Along with India, the new superbug gene has been detected in small numbers in Australia, Canada, the United States, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Great Britain. Researchers say that since many Americans and Europeans travel to India and Pakistan for elective procedures like cosmetic surgery, it was likely the gene would spread worldwide.

I never thought that was a good idea. Just go with the way God made you.

The ability of microorganisms to escape drugs’ efficacy is an increasing global health problem that could affect control of diseases such as respiratory infections and dysentery, according to the World Health Organization....

Sorry, but the WHO sacrificed its credibility with the swine flu scare and swindle.

Maybe that is why the old people are dead?

"Centenarians in Japan listings missing" by Associated Press | September 11, 2010

TOKYO — More than 230,000 Japanese citizens listed in government records as at least 100 years old can’t be found and may have died long ago, according to a government survey released yesterday....

And no one cared?

That's sad.

The head count followed a flurry of reports about how elderly people are falling through the cracks in Japan as its population ages rapidly and family ties weaken.

Seems to happen when you westernize, doesn't it?

FLASHBACK:

"The disappearance follows last week’s grisly discovery — also by officials updating the most-elderly list — that the man listed as Tokyo’s oldest male, who would have been 111 years old, had actually been dead for some 30 years and his decayed body was still in his home."

The stench must have been unbearable.

In late July, police discovered that Sogen Kato, who would have been 111 and was thought to be Tokyo’s oldest man, had been dead for 32 years and his decayed body was still lying in his home.

Police have arrested his granddaughter on charges of abandonment and pension fraud.

Oh, now I $ee!

"BlackBerry ban averted as India reviews RIM plan" by Vikas Bajaj, New York Times | August 31, 2010

MUMBAI — In a sign that India and the maker of popular BlackBerry devices might be closer to settling a dispute over law enforcement’s access to corporate e-mail, the government yesterday said that it would study and test a proposal by the company for two months.

The decision ends a waiting game, at least for now, over whether India would ban the popular corporate e-mail and BlackBerry Messenger chatting services....

Research In Motion, the Canadian company that makes BlackBerry devices, has more than a million BlackBerry users in India, one of its fastest growing markets. Many of those customers use consumer e-mail services that would not have been affected by a shutdown because the government says it can already monitor those messages.

Indian officials, along with those in several other countries, say they want the ability to monitor all messages sent over the popular devices, because terrorists could use them to plot and carry out attacks....

Actually, the REAL REASON is because the MOSSAD ASSASSINATION SQUAD that struck in DUBAI used Blackberrys!

But the AmeriKan MSM won't tell you that!

Of course, India is an ally of Israel so it could all be about the next crop of patsies to be blamed for the next terrorist attack.

"India mandates servers it can access" by Bloomberg News | September 2, 2010

NEW DEHLI — India has told Research In Motion Ltd., Google Inc., Skype Technologies SA, and other providers to set up servers in the country that would let security agencies monitor communications traffic....

The Indian government, concerned that terrorists might use smartphones with a high level of encryption to plan attacks, is urging equipment makers and service providers to provide solutions to meet its security needs....

India started testing RIM’s monitoring tools yesterday to see if they allow security agencies to tap its messenger and enterprise mail services. Discussions for further access are continuing, and the steps will be reviewed in 60 days, Home Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram said.

A ban would have affected more than a million users and halted the company’s expansion in the world’s second-biggest market for mobile phones....

Ever notice when money is at stake terrorists are far less important?

It's almost as if government and business KNOW that terrorism is a GOVERNMENT CREATED, FUNDED, and DIRECTED enterprise!
