Related: Globe Plays Up Republican National Convention
I begin with no front page to show you for some reason, with the web ad above coming from Astoria and keeping me alert, active, and awear(sic).
I look below and there are no stories under the Nation and World banners, forcing me to seek and search, slowing me down. The rest looks bare-boned and I am quickly losing interest (update: I clicked on those very banners and they have not been updated for over 24 hours, and see for yourself what slop is).
Leads me to believe they are the hits I'm getting, and now they know the general sense of the public out here as well as knowing we are on to them. Wasn't trying to hide it my opinion, it was cry for sanity and a plea for decency that has been discarded by the monsters in the pre$$ and tho$e whom they ultimately serve.
When I delved into the front face of the website, I noticed there isn't even the above-the fold that said GOP looks to Trump's family on second night.
What I will tell you is I watched Ingraham on Fox a little after 11 for about 10 minutes as they gushed over Melania and showed several clips from what I perceived to be a disjointed, hard-to-understand speech. Not her fault, the dialect and accents are a bit of a barrier, and I'm sure mine elicit the same in others were they to hear me talk. It's your typical northern New England inflection: to-may-to, not to-ma-to. The Globe also emphasized that in their "wire services" byline.
Anyway, the "analysis," such as it is, seems devoid of any realistic content over what is really going on as they talk about the future of freedom(?) amidst medical martial law and the economy was cities burn and are hollowed out with no real reopening and all the onerous contact tracing and other restrictions being put on schools. No fans at $port$ games doesn't seem to bother them, it's all vacuous, shallow, and superficial garbage, the opposite side of the same coin.
I now post this, undecided what to do going forward. I'm actually quite sick and tired of reading and reporting on the increasingly sickening and insulting "reporting" and more over there, to be flatly honest about it.
Maybe I will just take a day off from the evil spew and recharge with a full-on gulp down of the natural beauty and love of life around me before decide what, if anything, to do next.
